Basic Chess Lessons

Chess is a game with many rules, but they are not too hard or complex to understand.
You can start to 'Play' in a very short time with some basic instructions of how the pieces move, but you can always learn and improve your knowledge, understanding and strategies with more study and practice.
The topics presented here are designed to give you some 'early success' and also provide a foundation for future growth.
The game of chess is WON with checkmate. This usually occurs after a large amount of time and effort and the removal (capture) of many pieces.  Beginners should start with 'simple' problems and examples and work backward adding pieces until they are ready to 'play' a full game.
Let me know if you find any errors or mistakes in my lessons or have an idea for a better way to present the material.
Good Luck on your Learning Adventure.
